We're THAT much closer to the release of Lori's album! It will be released three weeks from today on November 17th. To get ready for that special day, preorder your copy today! Be one of the first to have one of these babies in your hands. This album represents two whole years of hard work for her and all the wonderful artists who contributed. The artwork looks even better in person, let me tell you!

The album is available for preorders only from us HERE. We have special offers AND special pricing only at our websites. Lori's album will also be available at CD Baby or itunes, Amazon.com, etc. But can I tell you something? If you don't care who you buy it from, please go directly to the source. That's from any artist, really. While these distributors are WONDERFUL and really help get independent musician's music out there, they DO take a cut - a pretty decent cut of the sales. So if you really want to help musicians and small labels who are trying their hardest to make money from cd run to cd run, buy directly from them if at all possible.

Lori's cd retails for $13.99, but is only $12.99 from us. We're also offering free shipping, autographing, AND a free poster after purchasing so many cd's. We know Lori has been talking a lot about this, but she's super excited! We have been planning this for 2 months now. Come, chat with her, listen to the album, AND hear the debut of a completely new track and it's remixes. The new track is called "Siren's Song." One of the remixes will be available for free download as a Thank You gift from Lori. :)

What is a partyline? Well, it's basically a chat room. A really fun one. The host or hostess (that would be Lori) controls the music player that everyone else who has joined the partyline hears. They also control all the photos to view. Listen to the entire album plus the debut of a brand new track called "Siren's Song" and a couple of it's remixes. Everyone attending will be able to download one of those remixes for free!

It's been too long!

It's been WAY too long since we made a post. Sorry folks. It's been one thing after another and there never seems to be enough time in the day.

Updates...

1) We are in the process to converting the label over to an LLC. That has taken some time.

2) Our website is slowing coming together, though it's still under major construction. It will come together, that's a promise.

3) Lori Cunningham's cd is currently in production and preorders will be availabe on her or our websites October 27th! The official release date is November 17th. Can we tell you just how incredibly excited we are for this release!

4) Lori continues to do extremely well on OurStage.com. She has quite the following and even won both the Techno/Ambient and Gothic/Industrial channels for the month of September! We're so proud of our Lori!

5) Join Lori on October 27th, 9 pm EST for her cd release Party Line on OurStage.com. What is a PartyLine? Well, it's basically a chat room. A really fun one. Lori Cunningham and Adam Amos’ mix made it into the quarter finals on OurStage.com!

And we couldn't be more pleased! But they need your help. Since "Empty Well [Overflow Mix]" made into the quarter finals, voting still needs to be done! They need as much support as they can get. Go to www.ourstage.com, sign up for an account, and start judging in the Techno channel.

The quarter finals go until Thursday, June 27th, 12pm EST. EVERY vote counts and helps them get closer to winning this category. They need to be in the top 10 to go on competing in the semi final round Saturday and Sunday. And then from there on Monday, the top song from every channel compete against in each other in the Final round. That's when they compete against each other for the grand prize - which involves a $5,000 cash prize, promotions, mentor sessions with industry guru's, etc.

What YOU can do, as our friend, to help them:

- You will need to vote in the Techno genre.

- The songs from all of the Top 20 artists will randomly pop up to battle each other. You just have to listen to each song for a minimum of 15 seconds each, and then vote. When their song pop up randomly to battle against the other top 10 artists, you just need to vote for them. (thank you, thank you, thank you) But only if you feel like it's better.... The track is listed under "Lori Cunningham" with a bright blue picture. Very easy to spot.

- Tip: Once you have already listened to a song, if it pops up again you don't have to re-listen to it. You can just go ahead and keep voting (this saves time). Their song will come up multiple times randomly, so don't stop voting after you see them on there just once! The more times you can vote for them - the more it helps their standings!

We promise that if Adam Amos and Lori Cunningham win anything on here, there will be some free give aways!

Starting out...

Who knew starting your own record label would be so blasted complicated? Register here and register there and don't forget this fee and that fee and every little fee fee. Hopefully, when it is all said and done, we'll have brought something good to the world. So far, Lori Cunningham, our sole artist, whose web page is www.loricmusic.com is starting to see increased popularity and everyone is eagerly anticipating the release of her debut album, Unseen. We are working on several avenues for distribution, especially on the web, but our little secret is that you'll be able to buy the cd directly from us for a much better deal on her website at www.loricmusic.com or at our website at www.strophicrecords.com. We can't name names, but there are two or three other artists that we are very excited to introduce to the world who are waiting in the wings. And we're very excited and proud of the artists with whom Lori Cunningham collaborated. This is the launch of Strophic Records blog on blogspot that will keep up with our reviews of new and exciting artists in the electronica genre, particularly the down tempo and ambient styles. And we'll look to be featured on local and internet radio sites. Big I Love You to Pete at Mystic Soundscapes. When Lori Cunningham's CD debuts, she's supposed to give an interview with Pete on his podcast. Its a great place to listen to some awesome music. Try it! I'm pretty excited with the progress we've made thus far and, though its going to take some dedicated work in the next five-six weeks, how far I see us going.
